GE MOTHERS OF INVENTION

A collaboration between Carra Sykes and Lauren Marek. We were hired together by GE for a Mother’s Day shoot at their transportation facility in Fort Worth, TX.

We aimed to capture the mothers in a way that embodied how powerful they are and how they support GE as a company. It was super inspiring and empowering to work with these women. The photos are all taken with the light within the work environment so that we could work on the fly and capture with a documentary feel. While on site we also shot a ton of images of the plant for GE.
